*NEW* Fire Destroys Home In Clearfield Co.

A state police fire marshal is now investigating an early morning fire in Clearfield County. The 911 call came in about 5:30 Friday morning. When crews arrived, the house at 99 maple street in Burnside, was in flames.

The homeowner, Ed Yearger, and four other people reportedly made it out safely. It took hours for the Burnside Fire Department to have the blaze under control.

No word on what caused the fire.
