Officials for Sunnehanna Amateur Golf Tournament are preparing for tomorrow's storm.  This years field was able to get in a practice round because there may not be any golf Thursday.  Tee times for Thursday's first round are set to begin at 8 am.  But the Committee says if they are unable to start by 12:30 the round will be postponed to Friday.  It all depends on how much rain falls....

Penn State says it's not paying its first fines to the NCAA until the Association asks for it.  The University owes a 12 million dollar installment as part of the sanctions the NCAA imposed in light of the Sandusky scandal.  In the meantime a lawyer for the University is asking the NCAA to decide exactly who is going to control that money.  Lawsuits are pending and that could determine if fine monies stay in Pennsylvania or are distributed nationwide.  Just last week Governor Tom Corbett saw his lawsuit thrown out by a Federal Judge.  He was looking to have all the sanctions including the fine reversed....

Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash in Blair County Wednesday afternoon. Police say the accident happened around 2 at the intersection of Frankstown Road and Tennyson Avenue in Altoona.  Emergency Crews cleared the accident quickly taking two people to the Altoona Regional Hospital.  At this time we don�t know how badly they were hurt.
