A standoff with police came to an end on Sunday morning after nearly eighteen hours.  The Johnstown Police say Raymond Mowery had barricaded himself inside his bedroom with at least two guns threatening to kill himself.  The Cambria County SERT Team and members of the Pennsylvania State Police tried to negotiate with Mowery but police say the standoff ended when he shot himself in the face....

State College Police are investigating nearly 90 thousand dollars missing from a Penn State Fraternity account.  We obtained a search warrant someone within the Ta Delta Chi noticed that the fraternity's bank balance was especially low.  When he got the bank statements he found 57 thousand dollars in suspicious cash withdrawals and another 30 thousand dollars in debit card purchases.  No one has been charged yet....

The Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center is teaming up with a local bank to build homes in the area.  Students at GACTC work closely with local suppliers and build what organizers say are 200 thousand dollar homes then Reliance Bank sells the homes for fair market value putting the revenue back into the school so future students can have the same opportunities.
