The Police in Johnstown are investigating a bizarre rash of burglaries in the city.  Police say someone has been going around to different construction sites and removing batteries from heavy equipment.  They say when crews report to work their bulldozers won't start.  Police say it's slowing down work on sewer system upgrades.  Building demolitions and independent projects and they say if the culprits are trying to sell the batteries they are only making about 10 dollars....

A Centre County woman is facing charges after police say she attempted to steal nearly 10 thousand dollars and then filed a false report to cover it up.  State College Police say Diane Chase was working at the Unimart along East College Avenue when she called Police to report a robbery.  She said a man slashed her with a knife in the parking lot then took a 10 thousand dollar store deposit from her....

The Bishop McCort High School held a meeting Monday afternoon as the school searches for a new principal.  The Board of Trustees hired a recruiting firm to conduct the search but they say they also want parents and Alumni feedback in the decision.  Monday's meeting was at the Holiday Inn in downtown Johnstown.  Another gathering is set for Tuesday morning at the Holiday Inn from 10 to 11:30 am.
