Centre County Counselor
A Centre County Mental Health Counselor who worked with inmates and other s in the court system is now herself on the wrong side of the law.  She's now lost the contracts tied to the court counseling after Police charged her with making up a story about a client to cover up an affair the two were having.  Thursday Centre County Administrators confirm they are cutting ties with Actions Counseling Service.  The service is co-owned by Cindy Brumbaugh who counseled, court ordered clients in a batterers intervention program.  This week State Police charged Brumbaugh with making false reports after she told them a client sexually assaulted her and the client responded with emails she sent him saying they were having an ongoing relationship.  Police say that came to light after they were in a car wreck and Brumbaugh's husband found out and she wanted to cover up the affair.
