Police arrest more than a dozen people in Clearfield County yesterday.  They are accused of being part a the County's ongoing drug problem.  Law Enforcement agencies called the arrest of 13 people on drug charges Operation Gobble Up.  The Clearfield County District Attorney says that he hopes these arrests can convince anyone dealing drugs to quit cold turkey.  The 13 people seen here face numerous charges.  More than 40 Officers working with Clearfield County Drug Task Force payed them a surprise visit early Thursday morning....

Police still looking for the man they say led Police on a high speed chase through Blair County last week.  Police say Richard Battles was wanted by Altoona Police on drug charges.  When they tried to pull him over he took off through Tyrone onto Interstate 99 into Centre County before crashing into another car then taking off.  Blair County Crimestoppers is offering a two thousand dollar reward for information leading to Battle's arrest....

A local business is expanding internationally, Gardner's candies based in Tyrone will soon be available at dozens of food stores in China.  A Chinese Business owner has a mutual friend with Sam Phillips the President of Gardner's and the two were able to work out a deal.  Right now, they are figuring out just how much candy will be shipped to China but Gardner's will be sold exclusively to the chain of stores.  The owner of the Chinese stores was in Tyrone yesterday.
