A threat turns into a brief chase thru two counties this afternoon along Route 56 between Johnstown and Seward.  Police say they were called to the scenic overlook when a man who they say was drunk and armed with a rifle threatened to kill himself.  Officers found him at a pull off a short distance down the road.  He took off when officers arrived.  That sparked a brief chase back to the overlook.  He was finally stopped and police helped emergency responders loaded him into an ambulance.
