Now that the worst is over local crews are going to the places hardest hit by Hurricane Sandy to help recovery efforts.  The Southern Alleghenies EMS has asked Cambria County to participate in providing aid to the victims in New Jersey....

A Cambria County Bridge that had been closed for a long time for a 5 million dollar project opened to traffic yesterday.  Officials say the Johnstown Fourth Avenue bridge opened after PennDOT started construction that included steel repairs on the bridge and sidewalk work.

The section of Franklin Street that intersects with Napolean Street has been shut down since crews working on sewer lines discovered a water line break.  The water line hadn't just started leaking recently it had been that way for awhile....

Most communities had postponed Trick or Treating last night because of the storm.  Richland Township was one of those communities but they want to make sure people know a Halloween tradition is still on for the weekend.  Police say they still plan on giving out hundreds of treat bags to kids.  Richland Township's Trick or Treating hours will be from 3 to 5 pm Saturday.
