A Judge has denied a request for some people in Somerset County to transfer school districts.  Some property owners in Jefferson Township had wanted to become a part of Rockwood School District because they said it would lower taxes. The Somerset Daily American reports the Judge determined they were taxable inhabitants of the Somerset District and could not switch.
