Turkey Fryer Fire

Thanksgiving did not turn out the way a Johnstown family had hoped. This is all that is left of the back porch at a home along Arthur Street in Johnstown. The family was trying to deep fry a turkey and started a fire instead. The people living in the house say they were too embarrassed to tell us what happened on camera but said they had just started cooking it when the fryer blew up. Fortunately, nobody was hurt but the porch was damaged beyond repair.
