Two Penn State Football Players Facing Rape Related Charges

Two former Penn State football players are reportedly facing rape-related charges.

Online court records show that Kaveion Keys and Jameial Lyons are to be arraigned on Wednesday on charges of rape and indecent assault, among other charges.

The pair was reportedly suspended from the team in August before being expelled from the university entirely.

Details of the alleged crime have not yet been released.

We have reached out to Penn State for further comment, and received the following response.

“We are aware of the serious charges against Mr. Keys and Mr. Lyons, who are no longer enrolled at the University. The safety of our community is our top priority,
and Penn State takes any report of sexual assault or misconduct very seriously and investigates any and all reports.”
