We are now learning the identity of another local high school student who died in a car crash over the weekend.
Two students from Altoona Area School District were tragically killed in separate car crashes on Sunday.
Keagahn Smith Price reportedly turned 16-years-old on Saturday, according to the GoFundMe set up to help his family.
He was one of two individuals killed in a single-vehicle crash along Lincoln Highway in Bedford County Sunday night.
Authorities say the crash also injured two others.
The GoFundMe also identified Smith Price as a former football player for Altoona Area High School.
“Any loss of a student or staff member is difficult and as you know we always provide extra counseling and grief support services for those who need it. Our focus is helping those who need it navigate through the process, which is different for each individual, while continuing with daily activities and events. While we appreciate the offer to talk about the recent losses we’re not interested. Our students are resilient and are working through the grieving process with our assistance.”
A Facebook post by Second Chance Strays Cat Rescue and Lounge, in Altoona, also says he is a former volunteer that spent countless hours assisting the organization.
