For the tenth year in a row, Easter For Eli is delivering Easter baskets to hospitalized children across 21 states.
This year, the nonprofit had some help from a few generous students. Central High School Senior Kasey Frye tells us she’s worked with Easter For Eli as her Senior Project.
She says she’s built, picked up, and organized hundreds of baskets so far.
Eight year old Madison Reed says she found Easter For Eli in 2023 and worked with her mom to make 100 Easter Baskets last year.
This time around, she says she set her goal even higher, and ended up making over 400 baskets.
Easter For Eli President and Founder Martin Garrett says the students have been a great help.
“They’ve been ready and willing to help so its great to let these children know and make awareness of all the children in the hospital and just what their lives are like as well.”
In the last two weeks, officials say they’ve delivered over 2500 easter baskets
