Teaching children about the environment was the theme of Saturday’s 20th Annual Conservation Celebration hosted by the Clearfield Conservation District.
The free event featured different stations where kids interacted with and even held different animals such as snakes and bugs.
There was also an environmental display that demonstrated the life cycles of different animals
“It’s really important for us to have kids involved and to show them what the environment needs and what what they can do to help and to continue keeping our environment in a healthy manner”
People also got to learn how to fish free of charge
