A house in Centre County sustained significant damage after a car crashed into it last week.
This was the damage to the house located on Rattlesnake Pike in Union Township.
State Police say the crash happened when a car left the roadway and hit a mailbox last Tuesday just before 12:30 in the morning.
Troopers say the car went back onto the road, crossed the center lines and hit a pole on the left side of the roadway.
Investigators say the driver continued to drive off the road and hit a support wire, then the abandoned house.
Troopers say no injuries were reported in the crash, however an infant was taken to a local hospital for more evaluation.
They say a child safety seat that was in the car during the crash was used improperly.
