And Tuesday another public hearing is being held by the Department Of Corrections
The hearing, scheduled for Tuesday, will focus on the Rockview State Prison in Centre County.
The State claims rehabing the old prison would cost more than $70 million dollars and the inmates there could be transfered elsewhere.
But with hundreds of jobs involved, along with other economic issues, there’s been a lot of lobbying to keep Rockview open
The hearing will be held at the Bald Eagle High School Auditorium, beginning at five o’clock.
