The Dubois City Council is meeting again right now as we speak
As their former City Manager Herm Suplizio is still under criminal investigation After being accused of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from the city.
The council last met two weeks ago where they voted to delay Suplizio’s termination.
Mayor Ed Walsh said they did not want to make a decision without seeking legal advice.
If Suplizio is terminated the city still has to pay him the length of his contract.
When he appeared at the Clearfield CCounty Courthouse last week
We learned that his contract goes until 2025.
That hearing was for the injunction that was approved to halt the termination and buyout process.
At this point Suplizio is still under criminal investigation from the Attorney General.
