Blair County residents are gathering for an Election Day prayer meeting Monday evening less than 24 hours before Election Day.
The meeting will include patriotic hymns and a dedicated time for prayer focused on the nation and the upcoming election.
The event, which is taking place at 7 p.m. at the Faith Baptist Church in Altoona, will feature remarks from Councilman and Pastor Dave Butterbaugh.
“I just felt that it was important for us to call together people who love America and understand what our foundation really is in this country, I felt that it was time to unite people to come in and pray that the outcome of this election will be to the good of the people and to the glory of God.”
Dull also said that the prayer meeting is non-partisan and open to anyone who wishes to attend.
