A local teen who just graduated from high school this year is being identified as the victim of an early morning deadly crash after a School Bus collided with his SUV
No students were on the bus at the time of the crash.
But as you can see here this was the scene in the area of Chestnut Street and Rt.53 In Gallitzin Township.
Coroner Jeff Lees says no students were on board the school bus when it crashed into the SUV that was being driven by 18 year old David Swinger of Lilly.
The crash happened just before 8 this morning officials say Swinger was at a stop sign and pulled out in front of the bus.
Lees says Swinger died instantly and was not wearing a seatbelt.
A female passenger in swinger’s vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital but no word on her condition.
Lees says swinger had just graduated from Penn Cambria earlier this year.
