A Blairsville woman has died on her 22nd birthday as the result of a vehicle accident on Deveaux Street in West Carroll Township early Sunday morning, Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees said.
According to Lees, Hannah Adams was traveling north on Deveaux Street just before 1:30 a.m. when she failed to negotiate a curve.
Lees said that Adams then lost control and hit a dumpster before striking a parked car.
According to Lees, Adams was taken to Conemaugh Miners Medical Center where she was pronounced dead at around 2:45 a.m.
Another passenger in the vehicle was flown to UPMC Altoona where they are being treated.
Lees said Adams’s death is being ruled as accidental.
