2 Teens have been arrested and charged with arson and other related offenses after setting a fire in a wooded area.
Altoona Police and Fire Departments say they responded to a fire in an area next to Garfield Park this Afternoon.
A State Parole Agent says they saw the start of the fire, and observed the 2 teens a 17 year old male and 15 year old male leaving the woods.
Officials tell us the fire burned an area approximately the size of a football field.
Due to the quick response of the Altoona Fire Department, authorities say there was no danger to nearby homes and the Park itself.
No injures were reported.
