A Jefferson County man is behind bars for allegedly sexually abusing a young girl over multiple years.
Police say now 43 year old Michael Sest began sexually assaulting the girl in 2019 at homes in Big Run and Punxsutawney Borough
Police say authorities started investigating Sest last year after the girl told a school social worker that she had been raped.
Sest is charged with nearly 90 offenses, including felonies for unlawful contact and aggravated indecent assault.
He is being housed in the Jefferson County Jail.
