Hundreds of displays continued to be showcased today at the Grange Fair in Centre County.
Among those displays at the 149th edition of the fair
Is a first place award for the Marion Grange based in Marion Township.
They have been recognized for their canned goods display full of locally grown fruits & veggies.
Members say they are using this display to emphasize that the grange is not just Cows, Sows, and Plows.
The Grange also helps people become more educated about farming
In addition to new technology that farmers are using such as GPS units and Drones.
“We love to go into the schools to help with the reading programs, or the holiday workshops, anything that anybody brings to us and asks us to help, we will definitely love to help them.”
The Grange Fair wraps up this weekend.
