There are a number of cooling stations across the area for those in need.
In Somerset County, cooling shelters are being made available in Central City, Windber, Confluence, Meyersdale and Somerset.

Officials say those cooling shelters will be open from 9 in the Morning to 2 in the Afternoon through Friday.
They say new times will be posted for after hours if necessary.
