We begin Tonight with a Police Chief in Cambria County facing suspension.
Northern Cambria Borough Police Chief Derek Stitt says he is currently being suspended for 11 days.
Originally the suspension was for just one day according to Stitt, For missing a meeting the Mayor and Borough Manager asked him to attend.
Stitt says he was on vacation at the time of the meeting and told borough officials he would not be able to make the meeting.
The suspension was later extended by another ten days after an encounter with the Borough Manager.
Stitt says he expects to be returning to his position on July 8th.
Borough officials say they will not comment on personnel matters at this time
