A Penn State football player is facing charges for allegedly driving under the influence of Marijuana earlier this year.
Police say senior Defensive End Amin Vanover was arrested in July following a traffic stop, for an expired tag.
Police say Vanover appeared intoxicated smelled of Marijuana and failed field sobriety tests.
Police say he later tested positive for having THC in his system.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for October.
The University says it is aware of the charges and states that the allegations do not reflect the values and standards of the Football Program.
