We have the latest now on an All American Wrestler at Penn State who is facing several criminal charges after an incident outside a fraternity house.
State College Police charged Braeden Davis this week for resisting arrest, trespassing and alcohol violations after arresting him a month ago.
According to the criminal complaint, 20 year old Davis was asked several times to leave a fraternity house on Prospect Avenue but refused.
Police say as they questioned him, he attempted to run.
The complaint says several officers were needed to control Davis.
Now he currently faces three misdemeanors and two summary charges.
Davis was a starting wrestler for the Nittany Lions, taking 5th at the NCAA Tournament.
Penn State Athletics released this statement about the arrest, saying quote
“These alleged actions do not reflect the values and standards of our program and will be addressed. We will not comment any further as this is an ongoing legal matter.”
Davis is scheduled for a preliminary hearing next month.
