Somerset County Woman Behind Bars

Authorities say a Somerset County Woman is behind bars following a months long investigation into a crash that injured a State Trooper.

This is Regina Bailey who is accused of being under the influence of Marijuana when she rear ended a car along Glades Pike late last year.

Police say the resulting collision severely injured Trooper Logan Knesh who was assisting a disabled motorist when he was struck by the read ended vehicle.

Investigators say Bailey claimed that she attempted to slow down in time but Trooper Knesh’s dash cam video reportedly showed that she was tailgating the other vehicle.

Police note that Trooper Knesh has not yet returned to duty and suffered a multitude of injuries including broken bones and a concussion.

Bailey is jailed on multiple counts of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and DUI.
