With Penn State’s student created drinking event known as State Patty’s Day coming up, Penn State and the State College Borough are coming together to increase safety measures.
Police departments in Centre County are working together to have a strong presence throughout the weekend in an attempt to reduce excessive drinking.
Here are some of the safety measures created by the University and Borough to limit dangerous activities:
Fraternities have been asked to limit social events with alcohol at their facilities.
The University’s residence halls will also limit guests to one per room for the weekend.
“State Patty’s Day” is expected to take place this Friday through Sunday.
