The Attorney General’s Office confirmed that State Police served Warrants to the Northern Cambria Police Department. The statement given to our Newsroom says it’s part of an ongoing investigation and that no arrests have been made.
It was just last week we reported on a shake up happening at that Police Department. The Mayor of Northern Cambria says two officers including the Chief resigned, but other sources in the Borough tell us that wasn’t accurate.
The Mayor also telling us last week the Police evidence room was being audited by the District Attorney’s Office and State Police, which Officials say is protocol. It’s unknown if Wednesday’s Warrants are related to that Audit.
